Biography

John Wright has established himself as one of the UK’s leading portrait photographers with a client base including international TV stations, film companies, ad agencies and magazines. Recognised as truly embracing the digital age in photography his work is rich in post production and much of his time behind the camera is spent shooting with a view to how the image will be ‘developed’ after the shoot.

To date he has posed a wild buffalo, told Michael Jackson to keep his sunglasses on, discussed Manchester Utd with a banker from Singapore while in a tin hut in Nepal, shouted deliriously and inappropriately at a cast member from Neighbours, seen his driver draw daggers to protect him in the slums of Cairo, played golf badly in Pakistan and generally experienced some good times and some bad.
